Can LWF help me if I already have an attorney?

Yes. Legally Women Foundation may assist women who already have legal representation.

Our role is to help you become more organized and prepared so you can make better use of your time with your attorney. Depending on the services available, LWF may help you organize case information, build timelines, prepare questions, identify documents to discuss with counsel, and better understand the stage of the family-court process you are navigating.

LWF does not replace your attorney, provide legal advice, or interfere with your attorney’s strategy or representation. Legal questions and decisions about your case should always be discussed directly with your attorney.
